  • Includes riding, one-on-one horse time, crafts and games

  • “Pony Time” ground sessions – A pony to play with!

If you are unsure about where the participant’s ability level is, please call us at (908)735-5912 or email us at programs@ridingwithheart.org, and we can discuss the options that benefit the rider while maintaining the highest level of safety.

To participate in any of our programs, you MUST sign the Riding with HEART Liability Form (In addition to the standard RWH Participant Form - SEE BOTH BELOW) that has been amended to include safety guidelines preventing the transmission of Covid-19. This agreement is for the protection of all participants, riders, volunteers, and any other persons deemed necessary for the day-to-day operation of Riding with HEART.

  • RWH will follow CDC guidelines by cleaning and disinfect high-touch areas and items after each use in accordance with CDC guidelines, particularly in areas that are accessible to staff or other individuals, including restroom facilities, toilet, and sink knobs, doorknobs, and all other surfaces that may be handled through regular use.

  • All participants will have their temperature taken before entering the barn. If the participant’s temperature is 100.4 degrees or higher, is coughing, or trouble breathing, the session will be canceled, and we will ask the participant to leave the property.

  • If a participant or family member (or any person living in the same home) is ill, the session will be canceled, and we will ask the participant to leave the property.

  • Cleaning and disinfection will occur between each session. All equipment (even the horse) will be sanitized between participants.

  • Parents, siblings, and caretakers may not enter the barn. Please remain in your vehicles until the lesson is about to begin.

  • Picnic tables and chairs are to be used by STAFF ONLY

  • The RWH playground is CLOSED

We have all had to make significant behavioral changes to reduce the spread of COVID-19. To reopen RWH with everyone’s health in mind, participants, staff, and volunteers will need to continue these practices:

  • Social distancing - staying 6 feet away from others

  • Frequently hand washing or use of alcohol-based (at least 60% alcohol) hand sanitizer when soap and water are not available

  • Wearing cloth face coverings

  • Avoiding touching eyes, nose, and mouth

  • Cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched objects and surfaces
