Riding with HEART is a 501(C) 3 Non-Profit organization located in Pittstown, NJ on 30 Green Acres Preserved Farmland. Riding with HEART (RWH) provides a multitude of equine-assisted activities and therapies beneficial to adults and children with physical, cognitive, or emotional disabilities.

The Riding with HEART Program offers a full, comprehensive equine experience. Whether participants are enjoying the benefits of adaptive therapeutic riding, they are also encouraged to have face-to-face contact with the horses. Grooming, leading and spending time in the company of horses also builds confidence and can offer a safe place to get away from the challenges faced by so many individuals. Our specially trained therapy horses are the best part of the Riding with HEART team.

 

Riding with HEART is a platinum-rated non-profit though Candid (formerly GuideStar) and has a 100% rating with Charity Navigator. We are a Premier Member Center with the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship (PATH) as well as a member of HRH of NJ Health and Recreation through Horses of NJ.

 

All RWH instructors are PATH certified, and are CPR and First Aid certified.
